Residential area, Germany

On a site area of approx. 12,500 m², the Housing cooperative Schiffahrt-Hafen is planning the new construction of different residential areas. The design by Inros Lackner shows three different typologies. The "Wohnen an der Brecht-Straße" (Living on Brecht Street) plans a block development. The "Wohnen am Park" (Living by the park) is oriented towards the adjoining green space with two residential buildings. The "Vertical Green" forms the northern end of the new development. A parking pallet is also planned. The overall ensemble connects the highly frequented street area with the quiet green area, the sports and play areas and the commercial centre and at the same time creates a new neighbourhood with an independent character.
